Choose a stable structure

Fine knit, flannel and selected white grades may release fewer fibres than highly worn material or unstable edges. Results still vary with the surface and wiping motion.

Test on the real surface

Wipe a defined area, inspect it under good light and repeat with the same pressure. Compare remaining fibres and the number of passes required.

Keep clean material protected

Open storage may add dust and fibres before use. Keep clean rags in packaging or a closed container and separate finishing material from maintenance stock.

Does white cotton produce less lint?
